　今日は神戸の後輩を大阪のうちの家に呼びました。そして淀川の堤防を二キロほどジョギングし、障害者スポーツセンター、アミティー舞州にバスで行きました。そしてそこでジムのマシーントレーニングを一通り一セットだけでしたがこなしました。やってみてやはり若い頃のように筋肉が動かず、何か筋肉の柔軟性というか伸縮性に欠けました。しかし継続してゆけば元には戻らなくても、若い頃のように徐々に伸縮して柔軟になっていくと、あるトレーニングの本には書いてありました。そして中高年のトレーニングは、若い頃のように限界まで挑戦せず、ちょっと物足りないなと思うところで止めておくのが、継続するためのコツだとある本から学びました。僕もスポーツをしたいという欲求はあるのですが、どうも継続できない。どうしても二日、三日おきぐらいになってしまう。それが欠点です。僕も中高年の典型的なバーンアウト（燃え尽き症候群）の部類に入るのでしょう。ある意味限界を超えすぎてオーバートレーニングばかりを繰り返していてため、体や脳の運動中枢が運動することに拒否反応を示しているのです。これを何とか克服するためには、さっきも言ったようにちょっときつめで、ともすれば物足りないなという運動を毎日継続することだと思います。そしてうまく性欲などの欲求を昇華して運動するモチーフにすることだと思います。僕も中年とはいえその初期、まだまだ若いもんには負けたくありません。明日からもちょっときつめの運動、ともすれば物足りないという運動を継続する、これを基本にがんばってゆきたいと思います。
