　今日は作業所が四時まで残業だったので、どこにも寄らずにまっすぐ家に帰りました。しかしやはり僕には神戸の空気が疲れた心身を癒すのに必要です。今日も帰ってきてつくづくそう感じました。　　　　　　　　　　　　
　明日は一ヶ月に一回の通院日です。そしてその後はフリーです。いまのところ病院で知り合った二十六の後輩と三宮で会うつもりです。多分することはカラオケとウォーキングだと思います。彼はこないだ十日の日に病院から退院したばっかりで、まだ人ごみに入ると疲れるといいます。しかし見かけ上は大の大人なのだから、いつまでも甘えていられません。とにかく極力無駄遣いしないで軽い運動と知的生活を送ればおのずから健康も養えると思います。そのために将棋も鞄の中に忍ばせて行って彼と対戦しようと思います。僕のほうが断然強いのですが、彼の急戦の攻め方も鋭いものがあります。そうです。彼ももともと頭がいいのです。それを十分に発揮出きてないだけなのです。
　それから僕がいまこだわっているのは瞬発力の回復です。これを長い間の入院生活によってもぎ取られてしまいました。体ばかりでなく頭のひらめきのほうもこの瞬発力がなくなってしまいました。それゆえ入院前やっていた空手をもう一度寝る前ほんの十分間でもいいから毎日続けようと思います。そしてウォーキングをただ歩くのでなく速歩で歩き、持久力だけでなくこの瞬発力も鍛えようと思います。とにかく目も老眼気味になってきたし、この瞬発力を鍛えるというのは心身ともに若返ると信じています。そのためには走ることもいいのでしょうが、悲しいかな僕は一年と半年前に腰を悪くして、走ることが出来ません。それゆえに軽いジャンプなら出来るので、これを空手の練習の中に取り入れています。とにかく諦めないでいろいろあれこれやってみて、掘り出し物を見つけようと思います。
